School of Foreign Law becomes a good tradition at the Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL). The School of Foreign Law is a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves not only in the language environment, but also to explore and discuss the most pressing issues of law. During two days the participants will be offered a course of lectures from specialists of leading universities and international organizations. Speakers will not only reveal the topical issues of law, but also present case studies from practice. 30-minute classes will be organized in the form of lectures or interactive master classes.
The School on Foreign Law is aimed to advance the knowledge of Russian and international students in various fields of modern law as well as to jointly explore the existing problems.

INTERNATIONAL LEGAL FORUM “MODERN PROBLEMS OF LAW AND ECONOMICS OF EUROPE AND ASIA” (SINCE 2018)
International Legal Forum “Modern Problems of Law and Economics of Europe and Asia” is a unique legal event bringing together experts in the field of law and economics.
The venue of the event is French and Russian platforms. The business program of the Forum promotes search for new approaches to solving modern problems of law and economy, development of cultural, scientific and business dialogue, establishing contacts and exchanging experiences.

In the context of the global economic crisis, the issues of legal regulation of social relations in the sphere of economic development are becoming increasingly important nationally and internationally. The Forum is attended by highly qualified lawyers and economists who make presentations on the most complex problems facing Russian and foreign legal systems.
The main sessions and panel discussions of the Forum annually develop methodological and practical recommendations and proposals that can contribute to the improvement of global legislation in the context of the ever-changing global economic challenges. This will provide an overview of the key trends necessary to improve the law in this area at the present time.
The objectives of the project are outlined by the organizers of the Forum:
Seeking new research ideas to enhance the effectiveness and expansion of the cultural diplomacy community in European and Asian countries;
Ensuring the continuity of the best traditions of centuries-old cultural dialogue between European states;
Mobilization of the creative potential of the Forum participants aimed at developing new meanings, strategies and methods of cultural diplomacy as a "soft power" in the context of contemporary threats and challenges;
Consolidation of appropriate public diplomacy efforts;
Creating a strategy for the development of a legal system based on the use of digital technology;
Expanding cultural partnerships with organizations and national cultural associations,
Diversification of forms of research cooperation of universities, associations and unions in the field of law and economics of European and Asian states.
ANNUAL FRENCH LAW WEEK IN MOSCOW (SINCE 2021)
The event is held by Kutafin Moscow State Law University (Moscow, Russia) and International Alliance of Jurists and Economists (France, Lyon).
As part of French Law Week lectures and master classes by leading scholars and practicing lawyers from France will be held for MSAL partner universities’ students.
The transition to a digital society, development of various forms of social activity and democracy, and globalization processes have revived interest in the need for a broad understanding of the phenomena occurring in the modern world.

ANNUAL GERMAN LAW WEEK IN MOSCOW (SINCE 2009)
Annual scientific and practical event devoted to the mutual study of Russian and German law. Implemented within the framework of cooperation agreements with the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and University of Potsdam.
During German Law Week leading German legal experts, judges of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany, representatives of the administration and faculty of universities give lectures on topical issues of German law.
The project takes place in the format of a plenary session, basic expert groups and lectures by foreign scientists.
MONOGRAPHS SERIES “CURRENT PROBLEMS OF FOREIGN AND RUSSIAN LAW”
The monographs of the series are based in 2021 and explore new vectors and challenges of scientific international cooperation in a hybrid world, development of interdisciplinary knowledge in law and economics for effective international cooperation, international cooperation to protect civil rights and freedoms, improvement of national judicial systems, digital transformation of social relations as an impulse for international cooperation and synchronizing research by lawyers and economists and international experience in solving current problems of normative legal regulation of economic and commercial relations.
