On July 5, 2019, in the dissertation’s hall of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL) a lection was hold by Orchon Narantsetseg, a barrister defending crime’s victims at the International Criminal Court, having as subject: “Introduction to the International Criminal Court”. The meeting was organized by the Institute of International Law, by the department of International Law, with support from the Office for International Cooperation. The opening addresses were held by Natalia Sokolova, Head of the department of International Law, Maria Egorova, Head of the International Cooperation Department and Elvin Teymurov, Director of the Insitute of International Law. O. Narantsetseg lectured to the participants on the history of international criminal justice’s development, the operating principles and the structure of the International Criminal Court. Then the lector discussed the State participation to judicial procedure, especially states belonging to ONU Security Council, like Russia and USA, and the Asian nations, where most of the World’s population lives, practically withpout possibility of recourse to any international entity for the protection of human rights. Professor Vladislav Tubdenov from the Department of Energy Law and students from the Institute of International Law and from the Institute of Private Law took actively part to the discussion.
